Revival Vintage Shirt Grandad Collar White

Item number: REV-GRAND-2

In the 1920s, some hard-working men couldn't stand the tight collar of their shirts making it difficult for them to breathe. Without further ado cut off the collar and the "workers shirt" of the 20s was born. In the 40s and 50s it became the "Grandad Shirt" because the next generation only knew the shirts from grandpa's working days.

Today the Grandad Shirt is experiencing a renaissance as a fashionable shirt to wear with a suit if you don't feel like a bow tie or tie. Because with the narrow stand-up collar it always looks accurate and interesting.
