Mr. Stanleys

Mr. Stanley's confectionery can be traced back to 1843 when a small, family-owned factory became known and loved producing high quality, traditional fudge and toffee that were good value for money.

Mr. Stanley's specialty was initially caramel. Fudge accidentally came about through a "fudged" recipe. However, hand-broken fudge soon became one of its most popular products. Coconut ice cream followed shortly after World War II, when the nation's ravages turned sweeter after sugar rationing.

Today Mr. Stanleys is the most famous toffee maker in London.
